Tig's still with us, happy to report

Her seisure is probably a sign of her future but she's doing better. We are just thrilled to spend every minute with her. We opted to proceed with Rich's birthday plans tonight: Sushi Masters. Its a sushi competition and tasting. We met up at home, all excited, dressed for a night on the town only to be delighted by sneeking into the VIP tasting...free beer but even there the sushi sampling was below average. The major catch of the day was freakin bag of rice, oh did I say this function was sponsored by the California Rice board??? The Taiko drumming was kinda cool but for 65 bucks a ticket, dry sushi, total disorganization and poor execution...our night to celiebrate Rich's birthday was bust. You know its bad when the crowd is "with you" making fun of how bad it is. Rich picked up a few tips but thats it. If anyone wants to see a master, freakin see Rich...and his results are delectible! Oh well, another instance of ... at least we can say we tried!!! Read "burning man" hello!

Yet another adventure for the mad Marcks!

SO glad Tiggy's perking up a bit. Hugs and lots of sloppy kisses!

sorry to hear it's still more of the same! We went 2 years ago, and I was so dismayed that Seth didn't even get sushi (let alone dry sushi) when he arrived a mere 1/2 hour after the event was supposed to begin that I called & complained. (The event began at 6pm but they started letting the hungry hordes in at 4:30pm. Huh?) They were super nice and actually refunded both our tix. I can't believe they haven't figured it out in the time since! Maybe they think with the sake flowing like ...sake...? that everyone will be too happy to complain? oy vey, happy B-day to Rich anyways!
