Memorial Weekend-success!

We started the long weekend with a nap. We were going to see Rich's friend, who's in a band: The Imaginots at the Fox and Goose. We picked up Anna for the nights festivities and to order a pint! The Imaginots were first up of three bands....NOT ! Their bass player didn't show up, we heard three other bands...then threw in the towel. Gawd it was 11:15pm...I had Ensure to drink...come on!...but we did not crash as soon as we returned, there were songs to howl to, stories to tell and dances to dance....all in Anna's living room. The night wound down and we found a bed, couch or sleeping pad to curl up in. Then there was the gentle nudge of waking up fracking roofers next door, subtle as Heavy Metal, singing to themselves, and bang, bang, bang...freakin 7am! Now really? come on....Anna and I were pissed and Rich kinda let us be and rolled over. They stopped after a half hour and the only reason they remained alive was because Rich edumacated us that they were getting the tar paper down on the roof due to the rain-but they were majorly lacking social skills...apparently they were NOT at the Fox and Goose Friday night! Whatevhar! Since we were up, we made lemonade outta lemons....Tower Cafe yeah! I had crab cake benedict, Rich had a pulled pork omelet and Anna had buttery french toast! We parted ways and went about a Saturday's worth of chores...studio for me. Oto's and sushi for Rich. Then we watched Donnie Darko (holy crap!) freaky Frank! epp!!!

Sunday we did the Salmon Falls mountain bike trail, treacherously steep, rocky and isolated...but we made it. We went to Indiana Jones Sunday night-Loved it!!! Then a book store visit, Indian food dinner and capped with a trip to Cold Stone Creamery...Great date day.

Today was real chores. We rearranged the living room (better Feng Shui) and now prepped for returning to "work life!" Great weekend and the kiln is going again, my fingers are crossed these new decals work!
