talking with my nephew, Kurtis, on line from Iraq. Its easy to think about the joy of a three day weekend but I have new found respect and reverence to those serving far and near.
As for what filled up our weekend, a little speedway motorcycle sidecar racing in Auburn, hubbabubba fan club, Dad's meal, exploring downtown, little Indy watching, Lodi wine tasting (Jessie Grove and Wine and Roses), Tortie the turtle, Habenero's and a little sun in the backyard. Everything enjoyed but chores had to be done...so today we got things in order and we're ready now...to enjoy fruit salad, ranch beans, bbq'd chicky and ribs...Happy Memorial day and Summer come on in!!!!!!!!

Who's da puppies?
at Jessie's Grove (Lodi winery) they were selling these darlings....Rich got double kisses and AND they smelled like puppies...we walked away, home to our geriatric brood.
