not really the "newborn" hat I was thinking of...

but Lor look...I told you it would fit a fist....but I'm getting better. Rich said it would work for baby Marge Simpson. Today's hour delay on the train allowed for time to practice combining two different yarns into one piece...Penny's is my (un) willing model. and love the pre-show for Lost but why does the writing have to be soooo small. Soggy weekend

lends itself to utter relaxation. The rain or even the threat of it, supported my decision to lay low and fight off any looming buggies. Sunday we even set our sights on learning a new Playstation 3 game, Little Big Planet...the silliest silliness! My sack person character went from burlap sack, to bright orange, the rainbow tie dye to a black and while pokadot dress...again true silliness. Besides video games, housecleaning, puppy petting and knitting. Take a look at my latest project...and Penny's take on the whole weekend! Oh muy gawd, forgot movie reviews: truly enjoyed Bottle Shock and Ghost Town.

Sushi Valentines day

delish long weekend in every way. So rainy we had every excuse to just stay close to home, recharge the 'ol batterys. I knitted, Rich played WOW, home projects were discussed and the kiln is going. So all in all, very indulgent weekend and a valentine trip to Mellow Me Out for massage and parrifin treatment for our feet and hands. Rich was a willing victim and did appear to enjoy it eventually. Then it was sushipoolza. Even the cats wanted in on the action...

Lori you've created a monster

Brenda contributed her fair share to the addiction too, what with gifts of beautiful yarn!!!!

Can you see the hatred in Penny's eyes? and Meeps barely tolerates me!!!

quiet weekend

Rich is feeling a little under the weather, so we are staying close to home...close to our pets. Tig is whining pretty much all the time and Meeps is back to losing weight...We went to the vet today for blood tests and pain pills for Tig. Our furry family makes our life wonderful and if I were to lose any of them, I would be a mess but not good news for either of them...sigh. Rich's sore throat made staying home acceptable and watching multiple movies ok. Lions for Lambs was wonderful...jury's still out on Hamlet 2. I knitted too while watching...look at tube top and jaunty skirt knit for my beer :D

Happy pre valentines day!

For Sean, Rich whipped up some sushi delights and together we all enjoyed the silliness that is SuperBowl. It was actually a good game with good commericial...think my fav was the one
"do you love your job?" What was yours??? And Lori thanks for your patience in creating the beer cozy!!! Now ready for a new month...come on February!!!!
