A sister visit, with Sushi and day at the Races
Cookie (Rich's sister) was up from So Cal, to take our nephew Ian to his dorm since he is starting at UCSF (Ian you are a stud!!!!) Cookie took Greg to the fair while Rich and I worked, then it was a switchie do and she spent the night with us. We all cleaned up and headed to Taros...I know I know...we love it there, plus Cookie loves sushi too. We had some new rolls and it was hysterical since my Hill sisters have been talking smack with the chefs!!!I was able to set them straight!
We packed Cookie up in the morning for her long drive back to Simi Valley. Saturday Rich battled our electrical demons lurking throughout our house and I prepared for our adventures on Sunday.
sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY
The day started at the Dixon Ihop at 6am!!! We went to Infineon Raceway for the Indy 300. Rich's friend puts these trips together and to say Brian is in to it, is a huge understatement. He made sure we set up, including pit passes, garage tours and headsets with each drivers' frequency. AJ Foyt, Danica and Andretti were driving. It was a stupendous day and met some new friends. Rich wants me to write about the "Go Daddy" and the Umbrella girls...but really don't feel the need.

may the legacy live on, (without us!)
We'll I have to say Craig's List is an amazing thing. We have been attempting to reduce clutter at 'ol Marck Mansion...really only sold a few things but the most surprising responses were to my candy cane striped bike. After Burning Man it saw little to no action...so being a rather crafty gal...I thought CRAIGS LIST. But I didn't put it under bikes but under the Artists section. The ad read, "can't go back to Burning Man this year but my bikes wants to return." Then added this picture. I received over ten passionate responses. Sold her tonight and glad she's going, not me. Perhaps all the people who wanted her, may see her...she is glorious. Burn on without me.

life is starting to get back to normal...
We went to Sutter Creek geocaching with the dogs on Saturday. Tiger is getting old, it breaks my heart but we cater our outings to her abilities...in other words she rules the roost. Plus there's a Three Dogs Bakery in Sutter Creek, so they got some yummy treats. We found a surreal cemetary, you just don't see wrought iron like this and the kiln is going...ahhhhhhh, next FOOTBALL.

The reign is over....
ding dong Carmax is gone. GONE GONE....forever and ever out of my life. Thats it...after six weeks of hell, tears, torn up tummies I thought this deserved a post.
