Ok, my friend Nick came over for a play date. I wanted to tie dye sheets and initally they came our great...then I washed them...they turned dingy and lost there sparkle. Was my mistake only using Rit dye?

Hey I did some dyeing this weekend too. I tried to dye my new Tattooed Love Dogs t-shirt. It's white, and I just don't really wear white, so I tried blue, but then it was all splotchy for some reason.
So then I tried color remover and it turned light blue with tan splotches.
So I tried to dye it tan, and it turned beige with brown splotches.
So then I bleached it, and it turned yellowish with and looks like it's covered in cat pee.
So, now I think I'm just going to blame RIT too.
Remember when I tye dyed that couch slipcover? It faded too. I think it IS a RIT dye problem.
